Shingle Roof Replacement
Shingle Roof Replacement

A trendy choice for homeowners is the Timberline High Definition (HD) shingle by GAF. This shingle offers a winning combination of quality, value, and aesthetics in several designer colours. The “high definition” aspect comes from GAF’s unique “feathering process” for applying paint to the shingle, giving it exceptional depth and dimension for a sharper, more beautiful look to your roof. On top of its great looks, this shingle is also built to last, with superior toughness, wind uplift resistance, flexibility and fire resistance.

As certified installers, our GAF roofing installations are also eligible for a transferrable, non-prorated 50 year System Plus Warranty – a great way to get peace of mind while adding value to your roofing investment.

CEDAR SHAKE & CEDAR SHINGLES

Cedar roofing is known for its character and aesthetics and its long lifespan, natural insulating properties, and resistance to decay, fire, wind, and harsh weather.

For those of you unfamiliar with cedar roofing, there are two different styles. Cedar shakes and cedar shingles. Cedar shakes are more individual and rugged in appearance but also thicker. Cedar shingles are smooth and more uniform in appearance because they are sawn smooth and cut tapered. While not as popular as some of today’s modern roofing materials and with the introduction of more sustainable building practices, the use of cedar shakes dates back to colonial times.

Cedar Shake Roofing
Cedar Roofing

Moffatt Bros. Roofing ensures the highest quality in cedar roofing by installing only Certi-Label shakes and shingles manufactured by members of the Cedar Shake & Shingle Bureau (CSSB). Established over a hundred years ago, the CSSB is a globally recognized authority in grading standards and installation guidelines for cedar shakes and shingles. Its member mills must follow strict quality control rules, including random third-party inspections, to ensure upheld standards.

We also follow the CSSB’s well-established installation guidelines for cedar shake and shingle roofing and maintain the highest level of craftsmanship in every detail.

FLAT ROOFING & ROOF DECKS

Moffatt Bros. Roofing offers a full range of flat and low-slope roofing options for your home. We specialize in EPDM and TPO low-slope roofing but can install virtually any other type of flat roofing you may need.

The main installation options for flat roofing are: mechanically fastened, adhesive adhered, and ballasted.

  • EPDM is a synthetic rubber roofing membrane known for its extremely long service life, flexibility even in harsh Canadian winters, and ease of installation.
